The Hess Art Collection is one of the world's most important private collections of contemporary art. Art is shown in two museums; the Hess Art Collection in Napa, USA and the James Turrell Museum in Salta, Argentina.
Inspired for more than 50 years by the vision and intuition of Donald Hess, the Hess Art Collection reflects the depth and caliber of art that he was drawn to and resonated with.
Whilst Donald Hess no longer plays an active role in the Hess Art Collection, we remain indebted to his years of supporting artists and making access to the museums free of charge to the public.
